Registration is underway for teams and individuals to sign up for Rockford Park District spring/summer adult slo-pitch softball leagues.
Grass leagues are: Co-Rec Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays; Women's Wednesdays, and Men's Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, all play at Mercyhealth Sportscore One, and Searls Park in Rockford; players must be age 18 or older as of January 1, 2017. A Wednesday league is also offered for players ages 50 and over. All teams will get a chance to play at least one game on the new turf fields at Mercyhealth Sportscore Two in Loves Park. Monday Men’s Open and Men’s Upper Leagues will play the full season on the turf fields.
Spring/summer league 14-game play begins the week of April 17, 2017; entry fees for spring/summer leagues if registered by March 30, 2017 are $465.00 per team (grass leagues), and $565 per team (turf leagues). After March 30, fees will be $520.00 for grass leagues, and $620 for turf leagues. All entry fees are due at registration, which will close April 9, 2017 if capacity has not been reached sooner.
